    • CSS Panic GuideThis is a great page. The author lists links to just about every site out there with helpful information about using CSS and fixing browser display issues. I could spend days reading and learning form all the links on this page. Highly recommended.
    • Web-Developer's Handbook 2.0Mind boggling! Could be several thousand links (I didn't even try counting) to sites on CSS, Web Development, Color Tools, SEO, Usability etc.
    • Holy CSS, Zeldman!"links that will save you from an anuerism." Andrew Fernandez has collected hundreds of links to CSS-related tutorials, on-linetools, software, books, and more.
  • CSS Layout Galleries:
    • Zen GardenDavid Shea's groundbreaking site featuring amazing layouts, all created with the exact same HTML content, but the presentations are done with CSS. The first place a Web designer, new to CSS, should visit to realize the huge potential of CSS based design.
    • Style GalaA monthly gallery of good css designs, along with lots of articles, design tips, etc.

    • Unmatched StyleAnother site where readers submit their Websites, then other readers rate them, this time on a scale of 0 to 10. Also contains links to articles, tips, etc. I like this site a lot.
    • CSS ImportYet another monthly gallery where readers submit their Websites, then other readers rate them. No other resources or articles. Just Websites
    • StyleBoostThe author reviews sites based on the quality of their visual design. A mix of CSS and table based designs. Over 1,000 sites are reviewed. A good place to learn about quality design.
  • CSS Templates:
    • Template WorldAll templates in this section are FREE, tableless, W3C-compliant web design layouts designed by Template World designers. These templates have been tested and proven compatible with all major browser environments and operating systems. Note: Template ZIPs do not contain the source files, but contact them and they will email you the PSD's (oh.. and it's free!)
    • OSWD TemplatesOpen Source Web Design is a site to download free web design templates and share yours with others. Currently 2,080 free designs! (The zip download includes the jpeg image files.) Just an awsome site, and the designs are beautiful! I don't know if all 2080 are, but all the ones I've looked at are XHTML with CSS! (and after the workshop you probably know enough CSS to pick one of the designs and tweak it to meet your exact needs...)
    • Ex-Designs320 CSS web designs.     • ListamaticThe first place to go to for simple, ready-to-use vertical and horizontal menus.
    • Dozens of fancy menusThe menu section from the CSS Play site (see below). More sophisticated and complex menus than at Listamatic. Also lots of drop-down menus, many even work in IE6 without any JavaScript!
  • CSS Tutorials:
    • CSS Basics TutorialsAn excellent, step by step tutorial for learning CSS. Highly recommended.
    • StyleMaster Academy — CSS TutorialAn extensive on-line css tutorial. The best I've seen! (These folks also sell a great CSS editor [better than Dreamweaver's, in my opinion] for only $59.95, and a 30-day free trial version can be downloaded to try it out)
  • CSS Tips, Tricks, and Blogs:
    • A List ApartA List Apart is the definitive "intellectual blog" about CSS. Must reading for anyone interested in CSS.
    • CSS PlayExperiments with Cascading Style Sheets. An amazing site, full of cool effects that go beyond what anyone else thought was possible with CSS. (Of course, many of these things will not work in IE6)
    • Mezzo Blue, David Shea's bloglots of resources from David Shea, the csszengarden,com founder.
    • Eric Meyer's CSS BlogEric Meyer has written a number of books on CSS. This is the CSS section of his blog (which covers lots of other topics as well).
